Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents within SLA requirements
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security documentation (policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
