Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions
- Lead security protocols including vulnerability assessments and incident response
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform for efficiency
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Splunk and optimize resource allocation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) preferred
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
