Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM for enterprise-scale networks
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and compliance auditing
- Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues with SLA-driven resolution
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) required
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
