Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and network intrusions
- Develop and maintain security monitoring dashboards and alerting protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive-level threat briefings
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity analyst experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network analysis, and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
