Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and proactive performance tuning
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 support and documentation for complex system issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking
- Certification in CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
