Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web applications and network infrastructure.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Design and implement robust security frameworks and access control policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development life cycles.
- Perform security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in an urgent environment.
