Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and threat hunting
- Coordinate incident response for sophisticated cyber attacks including ransomware and APTs
- Develop and maintain SIEM playbooks for Splunk and Sentinel
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement zero-trust architecture and NIST 800-53 controls
- Collaborate with legal/compliance teams for breach reporting
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR roles
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Gold certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, and threat intelligence
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
