Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering raw data from various sources and cleaning it to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Reporting: Support the creation of basic reports and dashboards to help stakeholders understand key business metrics.
- Pattern Recognition: Identify trends and anomalies in data sets to help the team make informed business decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts and the marketing team to understand data requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, processes, and findings.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct quick analysis on specific business questions as they arise.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A strong desire to learn and a passion for data is more important than prior job history.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Statistics, Business, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required. Familiarity with SQL or Tableau is a bonus but not required for the interview stage.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data insights simply.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in data and processes.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
