Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across enterprise networks and cloud environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and patch management
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security documentation
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid U.S. driver's license for occasional on-site requirements
