Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across hybrid environments
- Conduct proactive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise networks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect zero-trust security architectures
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and automate threat detection workflows
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization security
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection and response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required (GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection
- Proven experience with cloud security platforms (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Excellent written communication skills for security documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
