Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents within SLA timeframes
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and encryption protocols
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Document security procedures and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection or incident response
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
