Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across enterprise systems
- Lead incident investigations, forensic analysis, and remediation of security breaches
- Develop/implement security policies, procedures, and continuous monitoring protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into cloud/on-premise environments
- Stay current on emerging threats, attack vectors, and defensive technologies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, GCIA/GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM tools, network security protocols, and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint detection solutions
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to document complex technical findings
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
