Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect organizational assets
- Oversee cloud infrastructure including AWS/Azure configurations and hybrid cloud solutions
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response coordination
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Ansible and optimize system performance
- Document IT infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent required
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or SolarWinds
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
