Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect data integrity and prevent cyber threats.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to improve efficiency.
- Oversee database administration and performance tuning.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines.
- Provide 24/7 support for critical systems and resolve technical incidents efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
