Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including identity management and access controls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and applications.
- Lead server migrations and upgrades with a focus on minimal downtime and business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, or Chef).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin) are a significant plus.
