Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory environments.
- Manage network security, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal stakeholders and resolve escalated issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or Azure/AWS certifications preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
