Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server and Linux) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and monitor network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems and implement new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
- Proficiency in Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
