Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Design automation solutions using Ansible and PowerShell
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls and VPNs
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and compliance auditing
- Document IT infrastructure and provide technical training to staff
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows/Linux systems
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configuration
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance if required
