Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues, minimizing downtime through automation and monitoring tools
- Deploy and configure network infrastructure including switches, routers, and VPN solutions
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Document system configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and urgent incident response
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
