Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime systems
- Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints serving 10M+ daily requests
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) for low-latency operations
- Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0 and data encryption
- Drive A/B testing for feature rollouts using AWS analytics tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade applications in distributed systems
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Python, Java, or Rust)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Portfolio demonstrating open-source contributions or complex projects
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (required for client projects)
