Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain: Architect and code robust software solutions to support our weekend maintenance windows and feature releases.
- System Optimization: Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement efficient code to improve application speed.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that arise outside of standard business hours.
- Security Audits: Conduct routine security reviews and patch management to protect sensitive user data.
- Collaboration: Partner with on-site teams to document technical requirements and hand off tickets seamlessly.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code following industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern web technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, or Python.
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) as part of a full-time schedule.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues in a high-pressure environment.
