Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our proprietary equity options trading engine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (quants, product managers, and designers) to define feature requirements.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to handle high-frequency data processing.
- Implement robust security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Debug and resolve complex issues in production environments with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options, is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
