Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled maintenance and critical deployments during weekend windows.
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Resolve production bugs and incidents reported during off-hours promptly.
- Perform code reviews for maintenance tasks and legacy system refactoring.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team for seamless issue resolution.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports for weekly handovers.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity during maintenance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major language (Java, Python, C++, or C#).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on security and performance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during shifts.
