Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core software applications and services running on the weekend infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot complex technical issues with high urgency.
- Execute database migrations, backups, and system patches to ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with the M-F engineering team to deploy code releases and review pull requests.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct automated testing and perform post-release quality assurance checks.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for critical weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
