Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for our core platform.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical issues, and perform preventative maintenance during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers to define requirements and deliver features on time.
- Optimize database queries and backend performance to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security best practices.
- Document technical architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C# with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex problems without direct supervision during night shifts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
