Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud technologies
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps and Product teams during US-based night shifts
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues using Splunk and ELK stack monitoring
- Contribute to architectural decisions for enterprise-scale applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM CST) with remote flexibility
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative communication abilities
