Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud solutions
- Lead network optimization projects to enhance performance, security, and scalability
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages with minimal business disruption
- Develop and execute network security protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure) for hybrid network implementations
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper routing and switching
- CCNP/CCIE or JNCIP certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP routing protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, zero-trust architecture)
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-scale network projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
