Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary LLMs
- Develop evaluation frameworks for prompt effectiveness and response quality
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise solutions
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt engineering methodologies
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize output precision
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and transfer learnings to the team
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering fundamentals
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused development
- Proven track record of optimizing LLM outputs for production systems
- Expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to quantify prompt performance metrics
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering solutions
- Excellent written communication with ability to articulate technical concepts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in flexible environment
- Preferred: Background in cognitive science or linguistics
