Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure backend systems using Java, Python, and cloud-native architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for 24/7 operational excellence
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve production issues during off-peak hours
- Optimize system performance and security protocols for enterprise-level applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing and code reviews
- Stay current with emerging technologies in cybersecurity and cloud platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud services and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in security-focused development
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across time zones
