Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-frequency trading algorithms and equity option pricing models.
- Build and maintain low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure using C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate mathematical models into production code.
- Monitor system performance and implement fail-safes to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain engineering excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest financial technologies and market trends to innovate our trading stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fintech or high-frequency trading.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives.
