Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and back-end services for equity options execution.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into robust software solutions.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance under heavy market load.
- Implement and enforce rigorous data security and compliance standards for financial transactions.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and technical mentorship for junior engineers.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues in real-time trading environments.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines for high-volume financial data processing.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options, derivatives pricing, or algorithmic trading.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
- Experience with Linux environments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
