Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity and priority classifications
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate validation cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and ensure product readiness
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability analysis to uncover hidden issues
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Maintain and optimize test environments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior QA team members and champion quality best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with proven track record in agile environments
- Expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies (Selenium, Cypress)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Experience with defect tracking systems and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Certification in QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
