Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications for equity options trading systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quants, Product Managers, DevOps) to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, Java, or C++.
- Debug complex issues and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base.
- Implement and adhere to strict security and compliance standards for financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and message queues.
- Understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
