Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance trading systems for equity options pricing and execution
- Implement low-latency algorithms handling 10,000+ transactions per second
- Optimize C++/Python code for microsecond-level market data processing
- Collaborate with quants to model volatility surfaces and risk analytics
- Lead system architecture for distributed options trading infrastructure
- Ensure 99.999% uptime through robust failover and monitoring systems
- Document complex trading logic and compliance workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years in C++/Python development for financial systems
- Expertise in equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Proven experience with high-frequency trading platforms
- Strong Linux kernel optimization and network programming skills
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and exchange connectivity
- Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS/GCP) for trading infrastructure
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
