About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical software components. You will work closely with a team of senior architects to ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for our core platform using modern frameworks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, and unit testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance during off-peak hours.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update existing legacy systems to ensure security and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
