Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Python, Go, and Java
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Write unit/integration tests with 95%+ code coverage
- Debug and resolve production issues within SLA timelines
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years building production-grade backend systems
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python/Java/Go)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
