Job Description
We are looking for a visionary UX/UI Designer to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. At Virginia Creative Labs, we believe in the power of design to solve complex problems and delight users. Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to uncover insights and drive design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and design tools.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback for iteration.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX design.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience in a product or agency environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, including mobile and web applications.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
- Experience with design systems (e.g., Material Design, Atomic Design) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to non-designers.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles is a plus.
