Join our award-winning design team at Innovate Design Studio, where we empower UX designers with premium equipment to create groundbreaking digital experiences. We're seeking a passionate Senior UX Designer to lead user-centered design projects for Fortune 500 clients in Portland's thriving tech ecosystem. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems while utilizing our state-of-the-art design toolkit including ergonomic workstations, 4K monitors, and prototyping hardware.
This role offers hybrid work flexibility with 3 days in our stunning Portland studio (fully equipped with design-specific amenities) and 2 remote days. We invest heavily in professional development through annual design conferences, workshops, and certification reimbursements.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes from research to final implementation using industry-standard tools
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and create detailed personas and journey maps
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and interactive wireframes using our provided design toolkit
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect execution
- Create comprehensive design systems and maintain component libraries
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and gather actionable feedback
- Mentor junior designers through our peer-review program
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex B2B and consumer products
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and accessibility standards
- Experience with design systems and component-driven design
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving process and design impact
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
