Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Manage cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and identity management.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive data against cyber threats.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior staff members.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform hardware upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
