Apex Systems is currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who can manage complex IT infrastructure and drive technical excellence within our organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud solutions and optimize our network architecture.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory and Identity Management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
