Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade on-premise servers, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Oversee and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and ensure high availability.
- Implement and enforce robust network security protocols and access controls.
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and perform regular system backups.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues with minimal downtime.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities.
