Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Overactive directory infrastructure, group policies, and authentication systems
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR testing
- Document IT infrastructure, procedures, and compliance documentation
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking
- Certifications (CompTIA Security+, MCSE, or Linux+) strongly preferred
- Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure management
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to work on-call rotation
