Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Windows/Linux server infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies with zero-tolerance security compliance
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and proactively resolve SLA-breaching incidents
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover testing for 99.99% uptime
- Automate provisioning using Ansible/Terraform to reduce deployment timelines by 40%
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to harden systems against NIST 800-53 requirements
- Document SOPs and create runbooks for complex infrastructure scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years' hands-on system administration
- Expert-level certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent Azure/AliCloud
- Deep proficiency in PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud architectures (AWS/Azure) and on-premises VMware
- Familiarity with FedRAMP/HIPAA compliance frameworks and government security protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network-level issues (TCP/IP, VPNs, load balancers)
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation and stakeholder reporting
