Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and data restoration procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, server, and application issues
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business objectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
