Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise server infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor security patches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, VPNs, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentorship to junior system administrators and helpdesk staff.
- Automate routine tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- Conduct regular system audits and capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python are highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications are required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret security clearance.
