Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructures (Windows/Linux/Cloud)
- Proactively monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute security protocol implementations
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and orchestration tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level proficiency with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- AWS/Azure certification with hands-on cloud deployment experience
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- ITIL foundation certification or equivalent
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
