Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ endpoints
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Automate deployment workflows using Ansible and Terraform
- Collaborate with security team to implement NIST compliance measures
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical incidents with 15-minute SLA response
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu Server
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and scripting automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong background in network security protocols (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
