Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premise infrastructures
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform for operational efficiency
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical systems and lead incident response protocols
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain comprehensive system documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux distributions
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Solutions Architect preferred
- Strong background in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) and scripting languages
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
