Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, networking, and security groups
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services for multi-site operations
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution for critical business systems
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for team scalability
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux environments
- AWS/Azure certification (AZ-104 or equivalent)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- CISSP or CompTIA Security+ preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours on-call rotation
