Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers, including Linux and Windows environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive organizational data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and infrastructure updates.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or similar IT support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure are a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills.
